The Baalbeck International Festival wishes to reaffirm the importance of culture as a catalyst for peace and unity despite the ongoing tragic events in the region.
With this spirit, the Baalbeck Festival presents “Strings of Baalbeck – أوتار بعلبك”, an ode to the oud, on Thursday, August 29, 2024 with the participation of the masters of oud from Lebanon and Palestine: Charbel Rouhana and his sextet will perform the first part of the concert, and Le Trio Joubran will perform the second part.
This oriental music event puts forth sounds of dialogue and harmony.
Originally scheduled to be held at the Baalbeck acropolis, this unique double concert will be hosted by the Caracalla Theatre in Horsh Tabet, Beirut, highlighting the unwavering solidarity between Caracalla Dance Theatre and the Baalbeck International Festival.
