Due to the highly polluted atmosphere surrounding the port of Beirut, we will be forced to relocate and reschedule #RecollectBeirut #بيروت تنذكر.
This memorial will yet take place, despite all the difficulties that we are facing, in one of the most affected areas in Beirut, on Sunday the 20th of September at 6.30 p.m (Beirut time).
All Lebanese television channels will live broadcast this happening, an hour of remembrance through texts and music, a ceremony of peace and hope to honor the memory of our lost and loved.
And as Amin Maalouf says at the beginning of his prayer :
« De Beyrouth, capitale blessée,
Une prière vers le Ciel,
Quelle que soit la langue dans laquelle on Le prie,
Quel que soit le nom par lequel on L’invoque… »
