The announcement of the Baalbeck International Festival’s 2017 program will take place on April 12 at 10 am at the Ministry of Tourism.
After the huge success of the “Red & Black Light” world tour, French-Lebanese Ibrahim Maalouf won the “Victoires de la musique 2017” for best concert. He has also received both the Prix Lumières 2017 and the César 2017 for best film music of the movie “Dans les forêts de Sibérie”. Ibrahim Maalouf returns to the Baalbeck International Festival to perform in a mega concert at the steps of Bacchus temple on Saturday 22nd of July 2017.
CAROLE SAMAHA SINGS ON NOVEMBER 24 IN ABOU DHABI
On the occasion of the Independence day of Lebanon and the National day of the UAE and under the patronage of the Minister of Culture in Abou Dhabi, His Excellency Sheikh Nahyan Bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, the Baalbeck International Festival presents a cultural event organized by the Lebanese Business Council, performed by Lebanese artist Carole Samaha that will take place on Thursday November 24 2016, at the Sorbonne University in Abou Dhabi.
This event serves as a cultural message beyond national borders, carrying a cultural and touristic message for Lebanon. We are proud to be part of this initiative by the Embassy of Lebanon in Abu Dhabi and the Lebanese Business Council of Abu Dhabi that will further reinforce cultural exchange and cooperation between the two countries, and which marks the first time that the Baalbeck International Festival is represented in the Arab countries.
In 2016, we celebrated 60 successful years of the Baalbek Festival thanks to the determination of our team, carried by the support of the friends of the Festival. We achieved a program that will be in the annals of the history of the Festival.
The national and international press covered our cultural and touristic activities, praising the importance of cultural resistance and noting the effectiveness of security measures.

A meeting was held by the Baalbeck International Festival’s general assembly on the 17th of December 2015, resulting into by acclamation the election of the following ladies and gentlemen as members of the executive committee:
